MRI and CT scans coming up on October 15th. Just a tiny bit nervous about the MRI itself since I was very uncomfortable in the machine for almost an hour last time (I am no dummy though - I asked for valium this time!) but also a little apprehensive about the results since I have been off the chemo for several months. Prayer for me on scan day as well as while waiting a week or more for the results would be greatly appreciated. I will try to update the blog once I have the results.
On the home front, we started CYBER school. It is public school, but brought to our door via the internet. We just started last week and so far we love it! Saves me the lesson planning, curriculum cost AND I get to reduce my teacher responsibilities and be more of a mommy... that is if I ever figure out how to work the PC's that each child received from the school. The alcove of our basement family room looks like a school computer lab now - 5 desks and 5 computers lined up all around. I stand in the middle and move from kid to kid constantly... finally got smart and use my office chair on wheels now, instead!
Praising God for each of you, who has carried us through by your prayer for us,
Karen
James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
