Notes for Karen

I can't tell you how overwhelmed I am by the amazing response we've had to this blog. This site has now been up for only 4 days and we've already had 631 different visitors and the site's been viewed 3,059 times! If each of you prayed just once for each time you saw this site, then we've reached Evan's Goal! I told Karen's children yesterday when we had 2,951 hits that we'd be past 3000 soon and Evan said that if we can hit 3,000 now, we should be able to do 50,000 easily... To be perfectly honest, I'm so stunned by how quickly we reached 3,000, that I'm no longer so sure that 50,000 is that difficult of a number to get to.

As soon as Karen is out of the ICU, I am going to print off the entire blog and all of your comments for her to read while she recovers. I thought I'd use this particular post to open up the comment section for all of you to send a brief note to Karen. Please feel free to leave notes of encouragement for her to read during recovery. Thank you all again for all your loving support and prayer during this time.

Hi Karen,
We continue to pray for you and your family.
I thought one day next week I can take Ethan and Christina out for lunch and maybe the park with Gracie and Jillian. Remember,
We love you so much and we are here for you.
Matthew 9:35
"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and HEALING EVERY SICKNESS AND EVERY DISEASE among the people"
Jesus is the Healer and He can heal you.
Matthew 12:15
...and GREAT multitudes followed Him, and JESUS HEALED them ALL"

God Bless you and strengthen you and give you His peace.
Love you,
Darlene Reynolds xoxo

Hi Mrs. H!
I'm praying for you in California (along with my friends), and my sister in Houston is praying for you, and my family in Wheaton is praying for you, and my family in Philly is praying for you... We've almost got the entire United States covered! But the great thing is that God is in control. Hooray! I cannot tell you how blessed I have been by watching your overflow of God's love to children. If you could, can thank your children (and son-in-law) for keeping me updated so I can know how to pray?? Thanks! I will continue to pray...
God's Blessings,
Rebecca

Hello Karen,
Pam, I and the kids have been praying for you and your family since Sunday(6/3). Evan came into class on Sunday morning and told us that you were in the hospital. All twenty of the kids and teachers prayed for you and Evan during this time. Pam and I have signed up to bring a meal to your children and Charles while you are on the mend. You and Charles have been such a great support to Pam and I over the years. You know what I mean. We at Open Hearts Open Homes will march on with your spirit, joy and enthusiasm guiding us. We will expect you back in the very near future. Until then keep in HIS Word. Hang in there we all love you.
Hugs and kisses, Chuck Robinson

I am praying for you constantly and my small group and friends in Washington are praying for you as well. We are all asking God for His healing, His strength and His peace. Praise the Lord for His blessings even in the midst of difficultly! He is "able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine"! Know that you are dearly loved by so many. You and your family have always been such an inspiration to me. I am holding you guys close in my heart. Praying for God's healing hand and grace to cover you.

Karen, We all missed you the last day of SALT. Your children had a record twenty-four pieces of art work displayed in the art show. I was so proud of them; they all worked so hard this year. I’ve told many friends about your remarkable family and wonderful children, so as I’ve asked friends to pray, they felt as if they already knew you. I have appreciated your concern and support over the last year as we’ve faced some difficult times. Now it is our chance to help you. You are on the prayer list both at our church and at Bob’s parent’s church in NH. We will continue to hold you up in prayer as you travel this difficult road.
Love,
Gale

Karen-
Like so many others, I am praying for you and your family. You have touched so many lives and I know you have mine. I hope all these messages you receive are a testimony to you of how God has worked you through you in such an amazing way! He loves you SO much and I am so comforted to know that He is right beside you right this minute even though all that love you can not be.

Cousin Karen and Charles~
I'm sure you would like to know that your "glossy 8x10" of you and your beautiful family has made it's way off of our very cluttered frig and on to a very prominent kitchen cabinet where several times a day we are reminded to pray for all of you:)I found John starring at it today.Johnny, being 7, is very interested in what is going on and even Hannah 4,joins in on praying too.
Thank you for always being such a pillar of stength, a role model, and a Proverbs 31 woman!!
Our church, Calvary Bible Church in Phoenixville, is praying for you too!
Thank you Tim and Kristen and Charles for this blog. WHAT A GREAT TOOL!
Looking forward to seeing you soon! We love you Cuz!
To God Be the Glory!

Isaiah 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Karen, We trust you will be encouraged as you read this. Last Sunday June 3rd, Kristina asked for prayer for her Mom who she said was in the hospital. So the third grade Sunday school class did just that. We are praying for your full and complete recovery, as you know, specific prayers are important. What was so clear to Carolyn was how clearly Kristina loved you and how important she felt it was to share with her class that you needed prayer. It is clear to see the legacy that you are leaving, we will continue to pray for your full and complete recovery to allow that legacy leaving business to continue.

Dear Karen,
Just wanted to let you know that many folks in Media are praying for you. You were Brigid's prayer request for Springton Lake Middle School's Donuts and Devos group last Thursday. Mackenzie Baxter who is also in the Bible Study told Brigid that she is related to you and that you were her prayer request too! We know that that you are in God's hands and that He will continue to give you peace. We also know that you will be a great blessing to all of the medical staff with whom you come into contact! We send our love, Janice, Larry and Brigid Shehan
